Frequently asked questions.
A few practical details about collecting, commissioning and caring for an original painting. If you have a question not covered here, please get in touch.
Are your paintings original artworks or prints?
My paintings are original, hand-painted oil paintings. Each work is unique, and its title, medium, dimensions, year, and availability are provided on its individual artwork page. A Certificate of Authenticity is included where stated in the artwork details.
How can I enquire about a painting?
Use the contact page and include the title of the work you are interested in. I will reply with current availability, pricing and any additional details.
Do you accept commissions?
Commission availability depends on my current studio schedule and the nature of the project. Send a short description of your idea, preferred dimensions and timeline so we can discuss the possibilities.
Can you ship artwork internationally?
International shipping can be discussed for individual works. Costs, delivery times, packaging and any customs or import charges depend on the destination and should be confirmed before purchase.
Are paintings framed?
Framing details vary by artwork. Please ask about the specific painting you are considering; framing and shipping arrangements can be confirmed together.
How should I care for an oil painting?
Keep the painting away from prolonged direct sunlight, high humidity, strong temperature changes and sources of heat. Avoid touching the painted surface or cleaning it with household products. For specialist care, consult a professional art conservator.
Can I view a painting in person?
In-person viewings may be possible by arrangement in Frankfurt am Main. Please contact me in advance to discuss the artwork and arrange a suitable time.
How do I know the dimensions and materials?
Each artwork listing should state the medium, support, dimensions and year. Measurements are given in centimetres; please contact me if you need measurements in inches or further technical details.
